Andy’s recollection

What more to be said that hasn’t already been expressed already?
I had the honour of befriending Tommy through our allegiance to Quins and shared many hours with him at The Stoop. While some matches were painful to watch – ok, let’s be honest, more than some – Tommy’s company more than made up for the losses on the pitch.
As with Jack, Lobby et al, the Tours to France and Italy are treasured memories. Such a gentleman and such a pleasure to have a very late-night nightcap with …. or any sort of beverage for that matter.
I’ll miss you loads mate. Here’s a picture of Fanny Coiffure, the establishment in Perpignan referred to by Jack. I know it would have made you smile, especially the expression of delight on the face of our friend in the doorway.

Rest in Peace, Tommy.
